The CHAMA community offers a flexible mobility program: car-sharing, e-bikes, and charging stations are available. With bus connections to Cham and Knonau, a direct train link to Zurich, and close access to the A1 motorway, Zug, Lucerne, and Zurich are easily accessible.

Car Sharing: CHAMA Mobility Station

With our versatile car sharing offer, you can stay mobile even without owning a car. The entire vehicle fleet is electric and can be booked 24/7 via the AMAG allride app. You only pay for the time you use, with no subscription fees.

Public Car Sharing

In addition to the CHAMA mobility station, there is also a public car sharing offering in the Zug region.

E-Scooters by Tier

Free floating after a one-time registration, e-scooters can be booked via an app. The operational area includes Cham and Zug.

Parking Spaces

CHAMA residents can rent parking spaces for cars, electric-cars and motorcycles in the underground garage. Parking spaces in the underground garage and surrounding area are available for visitors and customers of CHAMA’s commercial spaces. Bicycles can be stored in bike rooms or at outdoor bicycle parking spots.

Bike Workshop

In the bike workshop located in the “Dock” building, you can clean, maintain, or repair your own bicycles. The workshop is equipped with a bike pump, repair stand, tools, and a water connection.

Public Transport

The Lorzenpark bus stop is just a two-minute walk away. From there, bus line 42 connects to Cham train station, Knonau, and Rotkreuz. The S1 train departs from Cham station every 15 minutes, reaching Zug in just seven minutes, with connections to the Interregio to Zurich HB or to Lucerne in 24 minutes.

Individual Traffic

In just a few minutes by car, you can access the A4 motorway towards Zurich or Lucerne. With the future Cham-Hünenberg bypass, the CHAMA area will be even more easily accessible. Depending on traffic, the city of Zug can be reached by car in less than ten minutes.

On foot and by bike

From CHAMA, it takes just five minutes by bike to reach the centre of Cham. Adjacent to the district, Lorzenpark offers beautiful fire pits and the Teuflibach adventure playground is just a few minutes’ walk away. The nearby recreational area along the Lorze River is perfect for jogging, swimming, walking, or biking. Also just a stone’s throw away, the Chamer Vitaparcours runs through the picturesque Städtlerwald forest.

Package Station

CHAMA residents have access to a package station with parcel lockers. Delivered packages can be securely stored and kept there. A pickup code is sent by email by the postal service or courier, allowing the package to be picked up at any time after delivery. This helps avoid missed deliveries and extra trips.
