New Bus Connection to Zug Train Station

Starting in December 2027, a new bus line will directly connect CHAMA in Cham to Zug train station. The route through the Städtlerwald Tunnel will allow for a travel time of approximately 15 minutes. The bus will run every half hour and provide connections to long-distance services to Zurich and Lucerne. A new stop will be built near the CHAMA area. Service will initially operate during peak traffic times, with an option for expansion. The final decision by the Zug Cantonal Council is expected in September 2026.
